Remember that shy young lady that walked into your ballroom 11 years ago and didn't say a word for three months of training? See what we've accomplished? We've accomplished a lot in the 11 years I've been taking lessons with you/ I had to open my mind to accept criticism and bring a willingness to learn something new and exciting with me to every lesson. It has been hard work, a lot of sweat, sore feet and aching muscles but look at me now! You've turned me into a confident gold level dancer who still has a lot to learn.
I am so blessed to have chosen the best dance instructor in the state of Florida. Your patience is something I still marvel at. I've learned style and grace, intricate choreography from someone who is a master at what he does. But I know I still have a lot to learn.
Most people think of dance as something you do for fun in your spare time. I have a full time job but will always make time for my dancing because I love learning. That quiet, shy person no longer exists. She has become a person who is much stronger and confident. dance has been good for me. It's good for your entire body. It not only build confidence but it strengthens your muscles, keeps your mind active by learning choreography, burns calories, improves your cardiovascular system, strength your bones, improves your flexibility and stability, reduces stress, and helps you make new friends.

As someone who has always been very challenged by any kind of dancing, I have to admit that Lance and Elena give me hope! My husband and I have taken several group and couples classes. We really appreciate Lance's expertise and how he can break down the dances into pieces even we can get! Lance and Elena are so nice and caring. It is an honor and a blessing to have them as our instructors.

Jack and I had the best time tonight at the new Suntree Ballroom. Lance Sexton, one of the premier dance teachers in Brevard County, along with his sweet and talented wife, Elena, taught a killer east coast swing class. Then there was open dancing. Lance Sexton is AWESOME! He can make most ladies look fabulous on the dance floor like few other dance instructors. You dramatically increase your odds at a competition when dancing with him.
His private students usually either showcase or compete but a couple of years ago, Lance started weekly advanced group classes for social dancers. I was one of those who tried out and was immediately hooked. I attended as many of his weekly classes as I could.
Lance is easily one of the best dance instructors around. You can readily become a good social dancer just by attending his group classes and practicing whenever possible at the social dances.
I am so happy to have discovered ballroom dancing. I feel blessed to have attended Lance's classes as they made all the difference.
I started out being a wallflower at the Friday night dances, thrilled if I was asked just a couple of times onto the floor. Nowadays, I get asked about a dozen times by good dancers.
I feel privileged to dance with Lance and never miss his dances. I treat myself to a private lesson now and then to enhance my skills. Thanks to Lance, I now dance better than I ever thought possible just 2 years ago.
I know that I have barely scratched the surface of what I can learn from Lance. I pray that I will continue to have the opportunity to keep honing my skills dancing with him in the coming years. Regardless of what happens in the future, I will always be grateful for what Lance has already taught me.

Whatever your goal - technical mastery, exercise, pure enjoyment or some combination of the three - Suntree Ballroom is a great place to pursue it. You couldn't find nicer people or more caring and competent dance instructors than Lance and Elena. Studying with Lance has been a pleasure and a mind and body stretching adventure.
